Halting trading when unclear whether company is insolvent
I am a new director that has just been appointed to a company which has not been doing very well financially. I have not yet had enough time to fully get to know the financial position of the company because it is complex. Theoretically this means that the company may be insolvent without me knowing yet. Would I be under an obligation to prevent it trading until I do know?
