How can I get compensation if I didn't report the accident to the police?

I have not reported an accident I was involved in two months ago to the police because I didn't realise I was injured until later. Can I retrospectively do that now or is it too late? I want compensation.

In NSW a person injured in a motor vehicle accident is required to report the accident to police within 28 days.

Suggested way forward

I suggest that you speak to a Victorian based lawyer whom specialises in personal injury law. The longer you wait before lodging a claim, the more your chances of recovering compensation diminish.
Best of luck!
