I recently bought an apartment off the plan. A key selling feature was the uninterrupted sea view, and I was assured by the selling agent that it couldn't be built out because of a zoning restriction. I've since learnt that the selling agent was mistaken and, in fact, the view will soon be built out. Can I sue the agent for the lost value of the property?
