Revoke POA and capacity
Elderly dad told by man in the PO to revoke his Power of Attorney. His GP (not his regular GP who had already referred him for specialist assessment for capacity/diminishing lack of capacity) said at the time he was capable. Dad therefore consulted his solicitor who while uncomfortable about being asked (unable to instruct that solicitor in matters 11 months ago due to evidence of memory loss and declining health) referred him to a face to face meeting with an agent solicitor. The solicitor assessed him as knowing what he was doing and then revoked his POA. What can we do?
