What if a sentence doesn't seem comparable to others who committed the same offence?
My brother has been sentenced with the maximum sentence available for his crime, but it seems inconsistent with what others in his position have been given? I don't know of anyone having as high a sentence as he has had. Is it ok for sentences to be inconsistent with the norm?
