Antoine Pace

Antoine is the Practice Group Leader of the Intellectual Property & Technology Team at Gadens in Melbourne. Under his leadership, the Team has been recognised as recommended in ‘Leading Victorian Trade Mark Law Firms’ and ‘Leading Victorian Copyright & Soft IP Law Firms’, during 2015 by Doyle's Guide.

He has a breadth of experience in intellectual property and technology law, as well as in corporate advisory and trade practices. He has a background of almost 30 years experience in the law including a periods as an in-house legal adviser with a major bank and an Australian airline.

Antoine has a particular focus on commercial contracting relating to telecommunications, information technology, licensing and manufacturing, product distribution, and outsourcing. He is a strong communicator and spends time understanding his clients and their businesses in order to best serve their needs. He often presents at seminars and conferences conducted by legal education providers, and to clients.

His clients include a number of leading providers of technology and products, as well as companies involved in the construction, rollout and maintenance of Australia’s telecommunications networks, and in the clean energy, engineering and healthcare industries, as well as a number of leading Victorian educational institutions and bodies.

Antoine has been recognised as a 'Best Lawyer – Education' in 2014 and 2015, and a 'Best Lawyer – Information Technology' in 2015. He was also listed in ‘Leading Victorian Non-Contentious IP Lawyers’ during 2015 by Doyle's Guide. His professional affiliations include membership of the Victorian Society for Computers and Law.
