Michel Margalit is a plaintiff lawyer. She is dedicated to ensuring each and every client receives carefully considered legal advice and representation.
Michel is responsible for the wills and estates practice at Arnold Thomas & Becker. She specialises in wills and estates litigation, including Testator's Family Maintenance claims and issues with testamentary capacity, undue influence and fraud.
She also practices in TAC, WorkCover, public liability and common law claims including those to recover compensation for victims of violent assault and sexual assault.
Michel provides her clients with compassionate yet practical advice. She takes a holistic approach to supporting her clients while strenuously advocating on their behalf.
Michel commenced with Arnold, Thomas & Becker in 2010. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University.
In addition to her employment with Arnold, Thomas & Becker, she is currently undertaking a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne. Michel has also completed a Master of Applied Law (Wills & Estates) with the College of Law.
She is an active member of the Victorian Legal Profession. Her professional memberships include the LIV Succession Law Committee, Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Australian Lawyers Alliance, Law Institute of Victoria, Victorian Women Lawyers and Reprieve.
