She has broad experience in the information, communications and technology sectors and has advised some of the world’s largest software, mining, food production and technology companies in all aspects of their intellectual property:
- enforcing patents, trade marks, copyright rights (including software programs) and design registrations;
- technology agreements, including SAAS and other cloud agreements;
misleading and deceptive conduct;
- confidential information protection and misuse of confidential information; and
- data breaches, un-authorised disclosures, regulatory compliance, mandatory notification laws and breach responses.
She acts in complex litigation matters, conducts Anton Piller searches to protect and seize confidential information, negotiates licensing agreements to commercialise intellectual property and has performed intellectual property due diligences relating to the acquisition of software/assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
