Rania Tannous

Rania joined Clearpoint Counsel in February 2015 as a General Counsel advising some of Clearpoint’s major clients in relation to their corporate transactions and commercial arrangements. Prior to joining Clearpoint, Rania built up extensive experience as a corporate and commercial inhouse legal counsel in the financial services sector. As a former Legal Manager at AMP Limited, she was responsible for the legal management of the practice growth initiatives within the licensees of the AMP Group. Prior to this, she worked as a Legal Consultant at AXA within the Distribution Network – Strategic Acquisitions team, undertaking strategic acquisitions of wealth management and financial planning businesses. Throughout her career, Rania has also worked as the Deputy Company Secretary and Acting Company Secretary of AXA, General Counsel at Carrick Institute of Education – a leading private provider of vocational education and training in Australia and various Legal Counsel roles including at MLC and AXA. Rania loves to go on long walks in the sun, meditation, travel and hanging out with her husband and son.
