I specialise is an area of law which, in Queensland, is subject to strict laws limiting what I can tell you.
I have been a lawyer for over 13 years after spending many years working as a police officer. After leaving the Queensland Police Service, I commenced my legal career acting for insurance companies and I have since acted in all areas of insurance. I also have considerable experience in acting for people involved in disputes with insurance companies. This is now my main area of practice.
I have has been using his experience and knowledge of insurers to the benefit of my clients who often have experienced a life changing event through no fault of their own.
Having experienced what it is like to pursue a claim against an insurer myself, I am empathetic to what people in such circumstances can experience. My aim is to not only get the best possible financial result for my clients but to also protect their physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the claims process.
I also act for not for profit organisations.
I am a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Australian Insurance Law Association and the Australian Professional Indemnity Group.
I have been admitted to practice in Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
